New Bridges games linked

Hello all mathematicians,
I just wanted to remind all parents and 1st grade mathematicians that we have many educational math games linked on our wiki.  Click here to access directly.
Don't forget to scroll all the way down as you can access games specific to certain strands that you might want to practice more, such as games related to clocks, time or money.  Happy math!

In addition, click here to access printable games and grids for continued math fun at home.

Counting by 5s

The students have continued their work on sea creatures and counting by 5s. Most recently, sea stars were used to show counting by 5s in the form of a class mural. Each sea star has 5 arms.
How many arms do you see in total on our mural?
How many do you see in each row?
How many times do you count by 5s in each row? In total?
Challenge Question:
How could you write number sentences for each of the above stated questions?

Please come and visit our classroom to see this wonderful artistic creation.

Growing Pattern

This is a picture of a student-created growing pattern. Can you figure out what the pattern is and what it is growing by each time?
As an extra challenge, can you create the 4th structure in this sequence?
